Prior to having the chance to review this item, I had never had the opportunity to try off-the-shelf progressive readers. The reader magnification that I generally use for up-close document reading does not work for viewing my computer monitor that is situated across my desk. Previously, I've had to compromise and use lower magnification so that I can complete my work on the screen; however, I would then struggle to read papers immediately in front of me. These glasses solve that problem with their progressive lenses. I'm sold on them. They look stylish enough, and the blue light blocking feature is a bonus.

If you have to work on your computer a lot, then you will be familiar with your eyes burning when they get tired. These glasses block that blue light and I have noticed a big difference in my eyes, not burning and not being as tired. I even like watching TV with them on. They come well packaged and with cases. I would buy these again.

I've been using single focal length reading glasses, and even while the magnification is mild (1.5x), it still gives me some minor disorientation when changing from reading / computer, to standing. these progressive ones does an amazing job between the computer screen, books / paper close up, and people 2-3 feet away! really great for the office environment, and looks professional to boot!

Those are the best reading glasses I ever worn for comfortable reading at very close range (phone), close range (screen) and medium range (2-3 meters). No more need to carry 2 different pairs. The magnification progression is very smooth. The glasses stay in place. At that price, I will probably get a few spare.

Update: The NexOptrics team proactively reached out and offered to send me a replacement set of glasses. The replacement set was much better and the nose pads were installed correctly - no missing screws this time. Their service and willingness to stand behind the quality of their products is really great. I have updated my review and star rating based on their service - I would easily recommend NexOptrics. The progressive lens on these glasses seem to work pretty well. I used to constantly take my readers on and off while working at my desk. I have a big screen monitor that doesn't require readers but I put readers on when looking down at papers or my phone screen. With progressive lens, I can just keep them on my face. There is a narrow sweet spot to the lens. As long as you're looking up and down in the center of the glasses, the progressive magnification works well. I was able to unscrew the nose pad from one pair and attach it to the other pair in order to create 1 working pair of glasses. The bottom edge of the glasses feel slightly sharp compared to my other more expensive half frame glasses.

I have tried twice to order +1.75 and keep getting +2.75 so I have given up. The other pairs I have are excellent and the gradual change in prescription from about +0.5 at the top (looking straight ahead) to +1.75 (or whatever) looking down is perfect for reading and computer work.

These readers measure 13cm wide on the inside with a spring hinge. It fits me well (petite female), so it may feel tight on someone larger. I love the these have 2.0 magnification on the lower portion and seamlessly graduates to roughly 1.0 near the top. This allows me to have to focus needed for up close reading and still be able to look up at a computer screen and see clearly in that range. These are also blue blocking. Great to have at my desk. This set comes with two pairs of glasses, two storage pouches, one set of cords, one wipe cloth.

These glasses are built with quality in mind. Hinges are very precise, with a tension-release spring, so you don't strain the hinges when you take them on and off. The progressive lenses means I don't have to take the glasses on and off when I switch from close reading to distance vision. The lens is totally seamless and just provides a clear image whether I'm looking down at a paper or up at my screen. This means I don't have to keep taking the glasses off and then have to figure out where I left them. Very convenient.

These are very lightweight and sturdy glasses. They seem well constructed compared to other glasses I have tried in this price range. I like that they come with 2 pairs-i am able to keep 1 pair at my desk and 1 pair on my dresser.

I hate wearing glasses for many reasons but these aren't bad at all, especially for the low price! I have previously purchased RX glasses, mainly for reading, with progressive lenses. I could not really get used to them, and for almost $600 I was disappointed. I also did not like the fact that I am most likely going to break or lose them. For about $12 I get similar features. The frames are hard and sturdy. The hinges are spring type that hold them firmly but not too hard. The lenses definitely filter out blue light. I am actually using them now to type this. If I move my eyes correctly, I get clear text on my screen. Noticeably clearer. This is true day or night. I wish they made a tinted version because there is a slight glare sometimes but then again, I didn't pay $600. It takes some time to adjust to any progressive lenses but I am doing very well. I like the style of these, and I appreciate the frameless design around the bottom of the lens. While I am still getting used to a progressive lens, it is already helping me read the fine print and quickly switch to my computer screen. And if I don't take them off, I can still see distant objects through the top of the lens. Nice! What surprised me most was the effectiveness of the blue lenses. The change in color of the screen is noticeable, and after wearing them for a couple of days, I can already tell a difference in eye strain, as I am on my computer 8-12 hours a day. I like these, and recommend - especially if you are online for hours a day!!!

My distance vision is 20/20 but I need glasses for reading and computer work. These glasses fit the bill. Two of them allow me to leave a pair at my computer and reading chair. - very convenient. The glasses I got were slightly different than my prescription because my prescription was not available. However, they are close enough to meet my needs. The glasses are well made and attractive. The lenses are progressive but the top of the lense is not neutral so I can’t wear these full time - only for reading. At the price, these are a bargain, a super bargain when compared to the prescription glasses I have ordered.

High Quality Optics – great if the refraction correction matches your needs These are a bargain price for the high quality optics and frame. Of course, you must see an eye doctor for a “refraction” examination to have the doctor tell you what lens prescription you need (and to check for eye disease while it is still treatable). These ARE NOT usable as active wear because there are no ear loops. If you are just sitting around they stay on your face reasonably well.

I am VERY pleased! I prefer no rim so 1/2 rim was great. Progressive is nice I can see the computer clearly and the TV across the room. Not sure why they called these "MENS Progressive Multifocus." Besides the 2 pairs of glasses (one for my husband but also 1 for me!) came with, 2 cases, cleaner cloth and rope glasses hanger. He says they look fine on me! They seem to reduce screen glare, and I will see over time if they relieve eye fatigue / dryness but I really hope they do. I also really like how light they are (weight wise) since I get a headache with heavy glasses. This is a DEAL and I think worth the price! BTW I got 2.50 even though my others were 2.00 and these aren't too strong. Now my scratched & smudged glasses will retire.

I currently own a few pairs of prescription progressive lens that do really well while I'm out and about, but I never was able to find the right lens while sitting at my computer. So, I settled on just a straight reading lens. Well, that's all changed with these lens. They are the perfect match for my computer/desk/stuff within 3-4 feet I want to view. They are comfortable to wear and not cheaply made, at all. Also the included case is to a quality item. I really like them and currently entraining purchasing a few more pairs in different styles from NexOptrics! I highly recommend them, they are worth every penny!

I wasn't expecting much, so I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these reading glasses. They look nice and are built well. The frames are really nice. The lenses are plastic-like, but are very clear. The focus is great! I have another pair of reading glasses that I paid more for and these are much better in every way. And you get two for this price! Nice!

They actually do work. 3 pair for $10, wow. I keep one pair next to my computer and another on the kitchen counter where I read my mail. I would use my prescription glasses if reading a long text or a book, but for the convenience of a pair here and there for simple tasks, these are perfect. I gave the third pair to a friend who had stopped by and I asked her to read a short piece. I said 'try these'. She was impressed. By the way they are very comfortable and are quite sturdy.

I have multifocal reading glasses but these are a very high quality. The spring hinges keep the glasses on your face very well. There is very little distortion. I highly recommend these reading glasses. I got the 2.5.
